Our next front is due on Friday night/Saturday morning. We have a short rain/snow mix to start on Friday night (after a day of northerly winds), then snow to follow. A second front pushes through on Sunday and this is linked to deep low - see the outlook. It shouldn't warm up too much in between fronts this time, so this one starts as snow.

Friday night and Saturday: 15 to 25 cm.

Sunday: 10 to 20 cm.

Thursday

Snow showers in the morning, then dry and turning quite sunny.

Friday

Dry and quite sunny - until a rain/snow mix develops at night, with the snowline gradually lowering.

Saturday

Persistent snow early (above 1400 metres), then snow showers.

Sunday

Snow showers (above 1400 metres) increasing to persistent snow (above 1600 metres) during the afternoon.

Outlook: There is the potential for several days of snow from Monday. A deep low should push front after front over Victoria, but it all depends on where the trailing high is. If it comes too close, it won't be epic, but there is a good chance it stays back - and we have an amazing week of snow. ...
