The excitement is building as we prepare to celebrate Opening Weekend at Mt Buller.

The 2013 winter season kicks off on Saturday June 8, with entertainment and activities planned throughout the Queen’s Birthday long weekend.

To ensure you don’t miss any of the fun, check out the below list of ‘what’s on’ at Mt Buller for the 2013 Opening Weekend celebrations.

SATURDAY 8 JUNE -

10.00am - 3.00pm	Blue Bullet Express Chairlift open for sightseers:   Lift access will be free of charge to all First Tracks Members (guests with a registered B-TAG).
10.00am - 3.00pm	Buller Expo: Includes demonstrations from the Buller Ski Lifts team, Barry the Possum Show and plenty of entertainment for the kids
2.30pm – 5.00pm	Kids’ Club in the Igloo: Balloons for kids, hot chocolate, face painting, balloon twisting, popcorn, temporary tattoos
2.30pm – 4.00pm	Village Square: Village Square activities Glow sticks and warm cider to enjoy
3.00pm – 4.00pm	Village Square:   Live entertainment ‘Blown Out of Proportion’
4.00pm – 4.30pm	Village Square:    Official Opening - 2013 Snow Season Join Minister Ryan Smith as he officially opens the 2013 Snow Season
4.30pm – 4.45pm	Buller Central:    Official Opening - Buller Central Mt Buller celebrates the opening of our newest property
4.45pm – 6.10pm	Village Square:    Live entertainment ‘The Vinyl Charade’
6.10pm *approx	Village Square:     Fireworks - For all to enjoy *weather dependent
7.00pm	The Whitt:    Opening Weekend Party Get ready to dance the night away
9.00pm – 12.00am	Moosehead Bar – ABOM:    Mt Buller Facebook Party DJs and plenty of fun to kick off the season in style

 

SUNDAY 9 JUNE

3.00pm – 5.00pm	Alpine Central Sports Hall:    Kids Activity Zone Entertain the kids with a variety of indoor activities
7.00pm – 8.30pm	Mt Buller Cinema: Red Bull Cinema Sessions ‘Superheroes of Stoke’ – saving skiing since 1992!
6.30pm	Mt Buller Chalet Hotel: Olympic Winter Institute Fundraising Dinner Celebrate in style and raise funds for a good cause.
4.45pm – 6.10pm	Village Square:    Live entertainment ‘The Vinyl Charade’
6.10pm *approx	Village Square:     Fireworks - For all to enjoy *weather dependent
7.00pm	The Whitt:    Opening Weekend Party Get ready to dance the night away
