A complex area of low pressure is over eastern Victoria today. This brings areas of snow above about 1400 metres.

A cold front pushes through on Saturday followed by another one later on Sunday. These both bring snow showers.

An unstable, cold pool of air affects us early next week, but the trailing high pressure system is too close to let it be a very strong system. Eastern alpine areas have the chance of snow showers, but western areas will be dry.

How much snow...

2 to 5 cm rest of today.

3 to 10 cm Saturday and Sunday.

2 to 5 cm Monday to Wednesday, only eastern resorts.
