Snow Forecast

Snow showers are all that’s left from the weekend’s storm. They should continue through the day (most frequent over southern resorts), then clear tonight.

A high pressure system is on its way in, and should pass overhead on Wednesday – but the cold airmass will linger. So, its dry on Tuesday with cloud slowly clearing, ready for a very cold morning on Wednesday.

The high won’t linger, and the next high stays enough out of the way, so we can expect a series of cold fronts from Thursday. This should bring around 10cm of fresh snow every day or two into next week.

So, its another 30 to 40 cm of snow from this Thursday to mid-next week.

REST OF TODAY:

Snow showers, most frequent over southern resorts. Breezy to strong SW winds.
