Warmth and plenty of sunshine today, with northerly winds as a high moves out to our east.
A low pressure system is crossing the Bight, but it's no match for the high and will fall away to the south. There's a second one following it, and that should come close enough to produce some precipitation on Friday night / Saturday morning. With the high out to our east, the atmosphere stays warm, and this will fall as rain. But, in good news, it's not a direct hit, so we should only see 5 to 10 mm (much better than what it was originally looking like).
This leaves us in store for a mild and mostly dry weekend, with just the slight chance of showers. Most resorts will be dry, except for the rain late Friday / early Saturday.
There's one more low to come though - and this one isn't nice. The atmosphere stays warm as the low passes overhead on Monday. Rain is likely in the resorts on Monday into Tuesday, and - depending where the low actually passes through - its anywhere from 20 to 50 mm of rain.
Another low pressure system may track through later in the week. This one should pick up some colder air, and has the potential for snow on the higher runs.
REST OF TODAY:
Warming up with plenty of sunshine. Northerly winds becoming breezy, then strong later.
