Warm northerly winds and a cold front are bringing rain today. The cold air arrives late afternoon, turning it to snow. Another front passes through tomorrow, with a deep low crossing Tasmania.
We have persistent snow from late this afternoon through to Saturday morning.
A weakening front clips us later on Saturday and only brings a little snow. A high then comes in from the northwest.

20 to 30 cm late this afternoon to Saturday morning.
1 to 3 cm Saturday night to Sunday morning.
